The General Assembly met Tuesday through Friday of this week with the Governor’s annual budget address on Wednesday. The week was highlighted by the Governor’s call for a 1% income tax surcharge to fund education and the House committee deadline on Friday.
The Senate is scheduled to be in session Monday through Friday of next week with their third reading deadline for Senate bills on Friday. The House is scheduled to be in session Tuesday through Friday of next week.
